Jinkholm international
Inc. provides caregivers to employing families from all strata of
Canadian Society as long as the following conditions exist.
We must ascertain and
show that employers meet the following criteria.
- Ability to pay satisfactory
wages to Live-In Caregiver based on HRDC guidelines
(see below).
- Ability to provide
accommodation for Live-In Caregivers.
- Prove that continuous
care is necessary (in case of elderly), e.g. doctors certificate.
- Show that employer’s
work/occupation situation is irregular e.g. shift work, employer
being on call, job entails frequent travels, or that employer
resides in a remote area.
The
HRDC must be satisfied that reasonable efforts have been made to
fill the position with qualified local candidates. When such efforts
fail, we may fill the position by offering it to a foreigner who
had previously made known her (his) willingness to accept the position.
The need as expressed by the family is demonstrated, by our experienced
and competent in house consultants, to the HRDC which confirms the
job offer after examining the appropriate application and supporting
documents submitted by Jinkholm International Inc. on behalf of
the prospective employer.
Processing of the application
on behalf the employer takes anywhere from 15 days to 42 days for
confirmation. If a family needs the employee in, say, December,
it may want to start processing in May; some completion can take
as much as one year.
